There is nothing better than Skateboarding with a group of close friends. Everyone pushes each other to up their game and always gets super stoked when one of the crew nails a new trick. Friendly competition is a naturally occurring thing that is both fun and healthy. Snowboarding being Skateboarding’s younger sibling, shares many of the same mentalities. Get a group of homies together, put a few features in a snow dome (in urban Korea) and watch nature take it’s course. OneEight Korea (Smokin’ Snowboards Korea) understands the natural ways of the young shred and took it upon themselves to organize this already likely to occur event. What a genius idea. Though their taste in music may be questionable the Korean shred scene is a core as it gets.
The Kids In Korea have it good. Natural mountains and terrain as well as snow domes for that year round, indoor shred. Unlike the U.K. and Middle East where natural snow and terrain are nearly non existent, Korea said eff it and tossed some indoor spots in the mix as well. The beauty of these indoor urban shred spots is that year round’, day or night, a quick trip through town gets you on snow with a bunch of your friends.
