TECH & CONSTRUCTION
|Quattro Grip™ We are so excited to introduce Quattro Grip™. Our new sidecut, which we have been developing for the past four season, is a radial sidecut outside the binding areas with four release points between the bindings, providing unmatched edge hold in all conditions and comes on every board.|
|Triaxial fiberglass with VDFLU 3 axes of fiberglass above and below the core create a strong, responsive feel with torsional stability. Handlaid VDFLU glass harnesses the power of variable glass weight distribution for enhanced pop and a bombproof board.||Sustainable Full Aspen Wood Cores Our full aspen wood cores are hand picked for consistent, knot free strength and flex from an ISC cetfied US lumbermill.|
|Sintered 6000 Bases Our sintered UHMW bases are the hardest, toughest available, and 1/3 thicker than industry standard. They have superior wax absorption for lightning fast speed and come from the leading US base manufacturer.||Skate Wheel Tips Urethane tip and tails are super tough, and their compositon helps deflect impact as well as dampen the board for the smoothest ride out there.|
|Three Stage Dampening 3 layers of dampening absorb unwanted vibrations caused by the ever changing snow conditions you face every day. The extra layer promotes cohesion between your board’s components for top performance and durability you can depend on.||Rubberized Epoxy Our high grade resin is rubberized for a dampened ride and the strongest possible bond in our boards.|
|Sintered 6000 Sidewalls We use the same materials in our sidewalls that we do in our bases to match their flex characteristics, and utilize the superior durability that the material provides. Whenever possible we incorporate recycled sidewall material to reduce our environmental impact.||Rockwell 48 Hardened Edges Our steel edges are 1/3 thicker than industry standard and heat treated to Rockwell 48 standards for better impact resistance.|
Everyone loves the buttery freedom of rocker. Landed a little sideways? No problem, rocker lets you sneak that tip around so you don’t scorpo in front of the babes watching from the lodge. Hot lapping 2000’ of vertical on a pow day? Your back leg will thank you for that extra rocker float; so let your beer gut hang free! All that cheater pressing comes with a price though, where’s the pop? Fear not buffalo soldier, Smokin’s PoP Gnarley tech is here to put that snap back in your stomp. While other manufacturers are still stuck in the nineties pumping your board full of more carbon than an LA sunset Smokin’ looked to the miracle plant for a little eco fiber boost. We use strategically placed 100% natural hemp fibers because they have a high tension rate that doesn’t break down under compression like carbon can. Our simple hemp x-layup adds torsional response to turns and more snap to your ollies without making it feel like you are riding a door. These hemp torsion rods in the tip and tail also help to diffuse chatter. Free yourself from the harsh vibrations and get irie with PoP Gnarley, it’s here to take you higher.
Variable Density Fiberglass Layup. VDFLU tunes the flex of our boards for superior pop in the nose and tail with added flexibility where you want it for a forgiving pressable feel. VDFLU also makes our boards 1.54 times stronger than before! Read More

Environmentally conscious manufacturing is our effort to reduce the footprint that building snowboards creates. Whenever possible we use recycled plastics, reduce waste in our processes and reuse material to minimize our impact on our surroundings.
Super Sap Epoxy Resin
Known as the best eco-friendly epoxy around, we are now using Super Sap to make our boards extra strong and extra easy on the environment.
Clash Rocker is our high performance hybrid camber technology. Clash is characterized by a true rocker between the bindings blending into a positive camber curve outside the bindings. Both the rocker and camber are very subtle on the board, but the results are significant. Clash Rocker is designed for powerful riding and those who prefer a responsive, snappy feel with no limitations. When weight is equally distributed on the Clash Rocker, there is slight pressure on your contact points giving you superior edge hold. When you begin to shift your weight off of one foot the rocker between the feet helps to unlock the contact point faster, giving you a more agile ride. The positive camber also creates more leverage for a ton of pop and power. The reverse between the bindings makes the board quick and forgiving as well as unbelievable in powder. Magne Traction ties it all together to make these boards precise, powerful, and diverse.
Smells like team favorite. D.I.R.T. Rocker is our original rocker technology. Originally introduced in 2009, It is completely flat from binding to binding with a very subtle rise past the bindings to the contact point. D.I.R.T. Rocker is designed to be catch free and playful, with unmatched float in the powder. It’s a great choice for jibbing if you prefer a looser feel, riding pow with ease. D.I.R.T. rocker boards are also a great option for intermediate riders looking for a less intimidating ride. Don’t forget that when making your board rocker, you lose edge leverage and therefore edge hold. If you don’t want a board that feels like you are riding a saucer, Magne Traction is a must! The flat profile is engineered to work seamlessly with the magne traction to give you a strong edge hold directly underfoot while the raised contact points still allow for a more catch free feel.
Less is more. Anti Rocker Boards are totally flat, well almost. We design these boards with the slightest positive camber when they come out of the press. By doing this, we have created a design that has more pop like a camber board, with catchfree tip and tails. Once these boards get ridden for a few days they settle in to being fully flat while still maintaining the snappiness of a new board. Unlike some rockers and flat boards which can feel like a dead fish right out of the wrapper, the mellow camber creates tension in the fiberglass layup giving you the pop you want on the takeoffs without the scorpions you hate on the landings. Anti Rocker is a great all around freestyle profile. It is easy to press, stable at high speeds, and still forgiving. There are no surprise tweaks or weird loop outs here, just predictable, consistent flex and feel. Magne Traction gives this board unmatched grip and edge hold, imitators beware.
Nothing beats the original. Traditional camber for those who may have forgotten already with all the rocker buzz is a positive arch board profile with the lowest point at the tips and the highest point between the bindings. Traditional camber creates unrivaled snap and power as well as the most edge hold in any condition. When combined with Magne Traction it is stable and very powerful. Traditional camber is great for all mountain riding, stability on bigger jumps, and those who don’t believe the hype.
Jib Flex patterns are designed for our softest boards to create a forgiving pressable feel perfect for rail riding and buttering. Focused core profiling creates specific press zones while maintaining pop and stability where you need it.
Our most popular flex pattern, Park Flex is a versatile core profile that is designed to be lively, responsive, and stable while maintaining a fun playful pressable characteristic. Soft enough to press it out, stable enough to stomp big.
The directional flex pattern of Freeride Flex gives you a powerful responsive feel ready to attack anything. Slightly softer in the nose for better deflection, stiff in the tail for a confidence inspiring ride.
Our True Twin boards feature a symmetrical shape, sidecut, and core profile for a consistent feel regular or switch.
Our Blunt Tip shapes feature an extended contact length for increased edge hold and surface area forstability in all riding conditions. They also just look sick!
Our Skate Kick design employs a radial contact point rise into a flat tip shape for a buttery, floaty feel in the nose and tail.
